In the
beginning!
In the summer of 1999, we started a small home
fellowship on Saturday nights teaching verse by verse
through the book of Romans. As the Lord began adding to
our numbers, it became clear to us that the Lord had a
work for us to do in Georgetown.
So, two months later, we found ourselves
holding Sunday services. In the spring of 2000,
we started our radio ministry "It Is Well"
and by summer we were baptizing people and sharing the
gospel wherever possible.

What About
Today?
God can do far and above what we could ever ask or
think . . . and He has! Today the church utilizes a
new sanctuary building, a youth facility and book store
on 18
acres of land in the Northwest area of Georgetown on Shell
Road. Our ongoing ministry includes Sundays and opportunities
during the week to worship the Lord as well.
Our Wednesday night service
includes an adult Bible
study, Youth Ministry and Calvary Kids Club.
Where to
from here?
It won't be long now before Jesus Christ returns to
this earth and takes all Christians home to be with Him
for all eternity. What a great day that will be!
Until Jesus returns, we will: "continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."
Acts 2:42
As we meet to pray
for direction, may God give us wisdom to know and do His
will, and seek the power of the Holy Spirit in winning
souls for Christ.
